JtE-1 and JtE-2 are open to interested persons, female and male, dancer and non-dancer. Information based course, must be willing to try the movement. Open to all levels.
JtE-1 is the prerequisite for JtE-2. Must be taken in order.

Sahra sponsored JtE-1 & 2 Intensives
Sahra does sponsor a summer consecutive JtE-1 and JtE-2 in Southern California each year. 2010 dates:

JtE-1 Refresher (None scheduled in Egypt for 2010)
1-day (8-hour) refresher for grads and "almost grads" who need less than 5 hours to graduate. Class only, not a tour. Lunch included.

JtE-3 (May 10-14, 2010)
Based in Giza/Cairo. Included:
- Over 30 hours of instruction and lab (instructors: Sahra, and Egyptians in the know - as they commit, their names will be listed);
- Giza Guesthouse (shared room),
- 2 meals daily;
- Local Tours supporting our classroom studies: (including entrance fees and transportation) Tanura performance, Khan al Khalili, Mohammed Ali street, and cultural museum;
- welcome dinner with chance to dance to live music;
- photo shoot with pyramids in background.
- Working towards including Zeffah and Zar, but not guaranteed.

JtE-4 (May 15-22, 2010)
JtE Travel/Study Upper Egypt. Included:
- Over 40 hours of instruction and lab (Sahra, and Sa'idi, Ghawazee, Nubian instructors);
- Deluxe sleeper train (2 nights)
- 5-star Hotel in Luxor (3 nights)
- Basma Hotel in Aswan (4 nights)
- 2 meals daily

Not Included: Land only. Price does not cover airfare, passport, visa, inoculations, excess baggage charges, transfers to or from airport hotel before May 8 or after May 22, meals/snacks not listed, all drinks/bottled water/soft drinks/liquor, all items of a personal nature such as laundry, telephone calls, internet time, and tips to waiters, hotel staff, sightseeing drivers and guides. Events and their admission fees and transportation (such as shows, extra tours, camel/horse rides, shopping, etc.) if not listed.

In order to make payments easier JtE has staggered the payments for JtE-3/4 into 4 amounts:
February 5: $200 due date non-refundable deposit to Travel Agent (If you also make the $300 deposit to JtE by February 5 you get a discount in the total price.)
February 15: $300 due date non-refundable deposit to JtE (for discount price, after February 15 is full price.)
March 15: $1151 Remainder amount due to Travel Agency (this includes the second meal plan, double room), or $1428 for single.
March 30: Remainder amount due to JtE for Course and classes (all dance classes are included, no extra charges for teachers) $1049 if you made your JtE deposit before Feb 5, $1149 if JtE deposit was made before Feb. 15, $1299 if JtE deposit was made after Feb 15.

Your deposit will hold your place until March 15. Payment to Travel Agent for land package in full is due by March 15. Payment to JtE for course in full is due by March 30.
(Early deposits allow the land travel agents to set prices and block rooms, dance instructors to be booked, and transportation needs to be estimated. Thank you for understanding.)

Travel Insurance is highly recommended - Travel Agent can insure JtE-4 dates for $56. JtE recommends covering the entire trip.

JtE-4+ are the Travel/Study portions of the series. JtE-4 takes us to Upper Egypt (Luxor through Aswan - including the Saidi, Nubian and Binat Mazin Ghawazee). Soon we will add different dance zones with different teachers and experiences.
