Sahra performed 6 nights a week at the Meridien-Heliopolis Hotel, Cairo from 1989-1995
During this time her cast grew to a full orchestra, folklore Saidi musicians and two Folklore Dancers
Each show was a mix of Orientale (often known as Belly Dance outside of Egypt) and Folkloric Dance.

The "Wada" woman is a fortune teller who, by gently throwing her special seashells, divines by interpreting the resulting paths in the sand.

* Sahra had the good fortune to be photographed by the world famous Spanish photographer Isabel Munoz. Seen here is a rich collection of those shoots, some of which can also be seen in Paris Vogue magazine and the book "Isabel Munoz Fotografias" (Ministerio de Cutura, Museo Nacional de Anthropologia, Madrid, Spain) with chapters on "Tango, Flamenco Y Oriental"
